Fed up with going down the pub on a Friday Night !

Why not come and have a go at racing a model car (and have a beer). We are a friendly club with many enthusiasts who are willing to help. We cater for the complete novice to the expert, racing various types of vehicles which include buggies, saloons, rebels.minis and much more.

Race evenings start at 7pm with the setting up of the track, you then book in with race control, this is to check your class and crystals and sort you into a relevant heat. A heat list is then printed out and you can see which one you will be racing in.

The races are of five minutes durating which you do as many laps as possible. The more laps you complete the higher you final positon will be.

The automatic lap counting system.

A small electronic bug is placed in your car and a pick up is placed under the carpet. At the end of the race the computer prints out the results with the number of laps you completed, lap times and your finishing position.

After your race, you return your car to the pits and then marshal the next race, giving you plenty of time to have another drink and to make any adjustments to your car before your next race.
